Dr. Nellina Saveriano


Dr. Saveriano is a graduate of McGill University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degrees in Honors Immunology and Physiology as well as her Medical Degree. She did an Internal Medicine internship prior to pursing General Surgery training and a subsequent Dermatology residency. She was awarded her specialist certification and fellowship in Dermatology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and with the American Board of Dermatology.

Dr. Saveriano has been in private practice in Hamilton since 1991 and holds staff positions at St. Joseph’s Healthcare and the Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation. She is a Dermatology Consultant for inpatients for both hospital corporations. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences, McMaster University and Past Chairman of the Division of Dermatology in the Hamilton Academy of Medicine. She has served on various committees of the Hamilton Academy of Medicine. Dr. Saveriano has authored numerous publications and has participated in several television interviews of Dermatology topics for Incontri of Omni Television (formerly Chin TV). She conducts teaching clinics for physicians in training as well as nurse practitioners and lectures to practicing physicians. Dr. Saveriano is trilingual and speaks Italian and French in addition to English. Her practice is dedicated to General Dermatology.
