Part Time Cosmetic & Medical Aesthetician Position Available

 

Aproximately 25 Hours per week - will include evening & week end shifts Must be flexible & available to work Saturdays, Sundays, evenings & overtime

Qualifications We are looking for a part time cosmetic & medical aesthetician to join Dr V’s Aesthetic Centre team. Ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills & ethics, is motivated, and can work well both individually and with a team.

We are a very fast paced Dermatology clinic that requires someone polished & professional in all areas. Applicants must have medical aesthetician training & experience with the following as an asset; Laser Hair Removal, Microdermabrasion, IPL, Blu U with Levulan, Peel treatments with a strong knowledge of the cosmetic industry including make up & products. Computer & technical skills required.

Job Description - Cosmetic Aesthetician

  • Consultations including patient screening & price quoting for all treatments, make up & products & Dr V’s Botox
  • Performing all procedures & treatments as trained & guided by Dr V
  • Making patient appointments & bills
  • Making post-treatment customer service calls & appointment reminder calls
  • Making sure patient is equipped with post treatment care
  • Charting & post treatment documentation
  • Ensuring patient photos & consents are collected
  • Attending seminars & courses to maintain certification
  • Cleaning & maintenance of all machines
  • Putting in service calls to ensure proper function of all machines Medical Assistant
  • Preparing supplies for procedures as indicated by Dr Vignjevic
  • Ensuring Dr Vignjevic is aware of sequence of procedures
  • Generating invoices for non-covered services
  • Advising patients of post treatment care
  • Introducing patients to cosmetic products & services/cross-selling
  • Cleaning examining rooms after procedures as needed
  • Sterilizing instruments twice daily on surgical days
  • Preparation of sterilization materials
  • Maintenance of autoclave by monthly cleaning & spore testing
  • Re-stocking of medical supplies & advising items to re-order (inventory done weekly)
  • Checking viral culture supplies in the fridge & checking expiry dates
  • Preparing laboratory requisitions
  • Stocking each exam room with literature, printer paper & business Occasional Duties
  • Preparing surgical supplies & sterilization of surgical instruments
  • Filling for surgical assistant as needed, providing assistance to Dr. Vignjevic
  • Advertising & marketing includes your ideas for sales, promotions & customer service
  • Administration duties as required & requested by management
